Matthew is a Grade 10 student studying at Collingwood School in West Vancouver. He started playing piano at age 4 and is currently studying with Dr. Sasha Starcevich. Having attainted First Class Honours and Distinction on his ARCT piano diploma, Matthew exemplifies his musical ability in various competitions, festivals, and talent shows. He further embraces his musical qualities when performing competitive Figure Skating, finishing as the first place overall Novice Men Skater in the BC Yukon Territory 2023 Season. Matthew is also an active contestant in speech & debate, having become the Champion Speaker at the 2023 Canadian Junior Speech Nationals. Matthew is a passionate VPS ambassador and is looking forward to working with greater society to promote and inspire young pianists to pursue their music dreams and free learning.
