BIOGRAPHY
Benjamin Luo, an eleventh grader from Apex, North Carolina, began his piano study with Florence Ko at age five. Benjamin was named a 2025 and 2026 National YoungArts Award Winner in Classical Music/Piano, and was accepted into the National Chopin Foundation Scholarship Program in 2025. That same year, Benjamin won Second Prize and Best Performance of a Contemporary Work at the Arthur Fraser Piano Competition.
Benjamin has also appeared as a featured soloist with Hampton Roads Philharmonic in Virginia, Chapel Hill Philharmonia and Tar River Orchestra in North Carolina, Long Bay Symphony in South Carolina, and Seocho Philharmonia in Seoul.
