Joshua is a 12-year-old pianist from Vancouver who studies piano performance with Dr. Wayne Weng.

He won 1st place (Age 8) and 3rd place (Age 9) at the Canadian Music Competition in 2022 and 2023, respectively. He also won the Provincial Junior B Group at Performing Arts BC in 2024.

Since March 2020, he has shared over 300 weekly piano videos on social media, starting as a way to encourage people during the pandemic lockdown and becoming a lasting commitment. He also regularly volunteers at senior care homes.

Joshua plays with dedication and a genuine desire to connect, growing in both performance and musical communication.
