Twelve-year-old Karina Zhang started playing the piano at the age of five and is currently studying with Dr. Myong-Joo Lee in Orange County, California.

Karina participated in the Musical Festival summer festival in Perugia, Italy, and performed with the orchestra at Basilica di San Pedro in the summer of 2022.

Karina’s most recent competition success include First Place Winner (Young Musicians Category) of the American Protégé International Piano & Strings Competition 2022; First place winner in Young Artist Music Competition at the Image International Music Festival in 2020.

In her spare time, Karina enjoys art (particularly animation), hip hop dance and spending time with her dog, Yoshi.
