An 8th-grade student, Yuyang has been dedicated to the piano since the age of five, winning many piano competitions since then. His recent achievements include being named a concerto playoff finalist and concert alternate at the Seattle Young Artists Music Festival. Also an accomplished violinist, he serves as first chair of the second violin section for the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra. Beyond his musical pursuits, Yuyang enjoys swimming, hiking, and engaging in various hand crafts.
