Eric Lu Joins VPS 2026

Published on Mar 12, 2026

We are overjoyed to welcome Eric Lu to Vancouver Piano Sessions 2026.

The Gold Medalist of the 2025 International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw — one of the most gifted pianists of his generation — will join us on August 1, 2026, for a public masterclass at UBC Robson Square in downtown Vancouver, followed by a Q&A and Meet & Greet.

Eric Lu’s visit continues a tradition that VPS has been proud to build since its very first edition: welcoming artists of the absolute highest international caliber to Vancouver. Sergei Babayan graced our stage in both 2023 and 2024. In 2025, Van Cliburn gold medalists Alexander Kobrin and Haochen Zhang joined our festival. This summer, we welcome the reigning Chopin gold medalist for a masterclass unlike anything Vancouver has seen.

Tickets go on sale in June. Stay tuned to vancouverpianosessions.com for updates.
