Excellence in piano performance
Open to pianists of all ages, the Performing Artists program offers an inspiring environment for musical growth, collaboration, and artistic renewal in the heart of downtown Vancouver.
Adult non-professional pianists are encouraged to apply to this program. Upon successful acceptance to the festival, they will be offered the full benefits of the VPS Experience. Should there be specific requests to cater public performance opportunities or private lessons, the VPS Artistic Directors will consider catering this experience to the individual by case basis. Requests must be submitted via email prior to the start of the festival.

Additional private lessons are available for an additional fee.
Students are encouraged to perform during one of our afternoon or evening concerts (see application portal).
Daily two-hour practice sessions, lectures, and workshops.

Requests to be considered for this assistance must be in writing immediately upon acceptance to the festival. Resources will be allocated based on need and the order in which the requests are received.
